Stumbled on this from an online used bookseller for $99.99 shipped. Took a while to arrive, but in hand now and appears unused.

Is it a good Speedmaster reference book?馃槜

You might be a redneck if.......you just picked up a nice faded PBR bezel for your 1675. Helluva lot cheaper than a DON.

Much better than the NOS bezel that was there (full disclosure for those eagle eye folks, it's not installed yet just laid on top for photo)

From what I've been able to glean from this Forum, that is a FINE reference book, and you made me jealous by posting the price. Well done sir.

I actually bought this watch a month ago, or so. I sent it for a modification that you might be able to spot in a couple of the pictures. Also, there is a 6R15, some lower profile hands, a coke bezel & slightly domed crystal (not shown) awaiting installation; and many straps. It goes tot he watchmaker tomorrow. When it comes back, I'll show it off.

Hi strap appears to be from the firs 1957 speedy replica produced years ago ...like late 90s .

Bill
Picked up what appears to be a nice older well (won't say vintage as I have no clue) worn leather strap and Omega deployant with a loupe, well cause I was paying for shipping anyway might as well have something else in the box 馃榿

Nice fit and broken in like an old ball glove

And on the 300 (older acquisition)

I bought a box, not much really, just a box. I was at the watchmaker's this morning, saw this, the price was right (cheap) so I grabbed it. Overdue really, stuff was being kept in a bowl for lack of proper storage space (hey, it was a really nice bowl, maple burl....)

Anyway, the wife sees it and says "you've got a problem there" and walks away with one of those smile they wear (you know the one, the one they wear when they know they look good and are making you crazy)

So I look at the box wondering what she's on about and, sure enough, she's right! I have a problem.

there's a quartz watch in there!

that, and I'm a shit photographer.

Not watch related but my wife had this delivered today.

So on the guilty conscience scale, when are you taking delivery of the Patek?

Oddly enough the discussion went like this: "I signed up for a track day at the Indianapolis motor speedway in August...and got a garage..." Her response was "oh....I bought a piano". WTF? How is that proportional?!?

Suspension parts or watches....there's the question.

Suspension parts can be overrated.
