JB Champion came today, I was following the one that went for over $1k US and this one was listed BIN for half that so pulled the trigger. Can't get much closer to Neil than this, need to get the thin pushers swapped but I'm in ::love::::love::::love::

    1962 Catalogue
Omega, ou la cle de votre reussite
"or the key to your success" ???

    1962 Catalogue.jpg

Hoping for some early Speedmaster 'action' in there. Trying to get my kicks on the cheap(ish) these days.
Only two other pictures* from the seller so it adds to the excitement and anticipation during shipping as to what will be revealed in the 45 pages.

*Only thing I can make out in the blurryness is a picture from the XV Olympiad, so Finland 1952.
Possibility then that this pre dates the suggested 1962 and is from pre Speedmaster times?

After 3 years and one month I'm on the brink of reaching the 'magic' 200 posts. :D I'll try and make the 200th worthwhile, but that may mean it takes another couple of weeks. (months?)

Mixed emotions about its origins, but it's one h... of a watch.
1942 Stowa WW2 navigators watch. 55mm diameter:confused:. Radium enough to go.
Should land in a couple of weeks.
    Cheers!
    Edit: Funfact...

Just wow! Extremely cool! Remember, it´s just a watch, it was not responsible for the war. Enjoy it!
