Sure thing David, will wait until watches arrive and post the majority on a thread. Unfortunately, the Hamilton will not be joining as the watch is not coming until May, but I will include some pictures.
Arrived, just now. A nice (cheap!) vintage Waltham diver with a nice little 25 jewel automatic FHF 909. http://www.ranfft.de/cgi-bin/bidfun-db.cgi?10&ranfft&&2uswk&FHF_909 A little smaller than I'm used to at around 35mm, but super light weight. A diver, a first for me!
Impulse buy today...A local jewelry store is closing shop after decades, and they were having a bit of a sale. And I fell in love with this 1907 Elgin grade 294 18S pocket watch in nickel alloy (Silverode) case...Not high grade or particularly collectible, I'm sure, but so nicely preserved, and feels so nice in the palm of my hand. Interestingly, this has a convenient screw-back case.
Joined club Speedy yesterday with a 145.022-78 from HQ Milton in San Fran. I had been looking for this reference for a while. This seems like a pretty good example and even came with some papers. Happy to join the Omega Forums!
Seiko Turtle recieved couple days ago 1st of MANY strap changes gotta [emoji813] lug holes. Turtle meets Maddog shoes Sent from Galaxy S6 Edge via Tapatalk
I'll have a longer thread (probably this weekend) about how this came to sit on my wrist, but for now, I'll just say that this 2998-62 is now officially mine!
A Turtle came in the mail for me as well. So much better than my SKX173. It can be wound, hacks, and you can adjust the day and date. The band is much nicer too.
Received today, thanks @DLT222. Came well packaged, looks high quality and everything fits snugly. Like this a lot for old and new...
