Uh, oh! If @Alpha says that I'm in trouble! Do I dare go back and look?

Naw, I'm pleased with this; a close to mint (some light scratches on the caseback/resonator) Vulcain Cricket - a beautiful shimmery dial, classic lines and - since a windup bedside alarm in my teens - my first mechanical alarm.

What a little beauty! A great finale for me to 2015.

Stopped by one of my favorite pawn shops tonight in hopes of beating them out of something before the New Year.

They had just put out an all original, unpolished 16030 with inner box, open papers, hang tag, and booklets...it needs a service and new crystal, but otherwise is pretty strong.

Now just waiting on my 165.024!

Special New Years delivery from New York. Not without some problems in the delivery process as Fedex managed to take it to completely the wrong spot. I was a touch anxious as it had disappeared into the loading dock of a monolithic government agency, maybe not to be seen again for weeks until the great beast belched...

All's well that ends well..

Not having had much interest in Zenith before, I think I now might like a black one as well in this model. Any keen sellers out there?
