Another Enicar 100 Fathoms, this one caseback-marked July 1955: Cosmetically, this one's really in super condition, unpolished and well-kempt!
An all-original, "numbers matching" 145.022-69 with 220 bezel! 30.9M serial / November 1970 production falls right in the correct range, plus its original, full length 1039 bracelet stamped 4/70. Today was a good day
Well the house-hunt is on hold so, might as well upgrade my ride. Traded in my BMW 335i M-Sport for this beauty. Already putting it to work on the property, with putting up "No Trespassing" signs... yay.
Owned Chevy, and still have it (1500 silverado), but decided to try out Ford this time for hauling various trailers, and reaching those higher spots like I needed in that picture
I also have a 1500 Silverado. Bought it used and only drive it 125 miles a month. 13.5 miles to the gallon. It was a painters work truck with a heavy towing package, I've had 2800 pounds in the back and it didn't bottom on the tracks. Faster and quicker than a 76 Camaro Rally Sport I had.
Oh those Chevy V8's will certainly put out some HP and Torque! That's just it, I work at home, so I could justify another truck since I don't need to drive 30-60 mins a day one way to work and back. It's amazing how much beating these trucks can take these days!
The problem with the extremely stiff rear suspension is that even a slight dew on the road will cause the tires to spin and on real wet pavement it wants to get tail happy in the turns. Put 1000 pounds in for the winter and it is fine.
