··Carpe horologium!BTW, I just did a Geiger counter reading on my new Pilot, and out of the 25+ radium-dialed watches I own, this one sits at #6 on the list with a reading over 500 CPS! Here's a video I just took of a measurement:
FYI, this does not alarm me in the least (I wouldn't be buying vintage if it did) 😀.
I know that unless one works on the dial and doesn't take the proper precautions, there's nothing to worry about, but it's still fascinating 'science' to me!

But our perception on radium in watches may need to change if this article means anything to vintage collectors.
