Is that a ref.2652? If so I have the exact same one but in the gold-capped iteration. Now that I look at it, with the applied name and logo I'm guessing a little later. Will look great after the clean-up. When it comes back take it out to a nice dinner with a bottle of aged Bordeaux.

I have been searching for better depth of field in my pics to try and do justice to some of the pieces in my collection. After quite a bit of research I pulled the trigger on this off the bay. It is used and very affordable so when I discover that is me and not the tools, I haven't burnt too much cash

Burberry's new medium check tote bag in Saddle Brown - all in for $957. Well, actually, it's her Christmas and birthday gift combined.

 

I suppose I should count myself lucky. Last year I got away with a Barbour jacket "like the one Princess Kate wears" for around $500 for the combined Christmas and birthday gift. Not sure what I'll do this year.......where did you say you bought that bag?

Using one of them for some years, now. Very good lens in my opinion.

 

I´m using a Canon 100mm 2.8 Macro for my better pictures and as long as the lighting is good it will make an enormous difference. It did cost a fair bit ( about the same as a pair of No.6 endlinks ) and take some getting used to though, but once I´d got my standard settings sorted out it was pretty much plain sailing.

A tripod and almost as importantly one of those remote shutter buttons makes for an enjoyable experience.

Agree that it's really good, shaper than the AF-S VR even. But focusing at high magnification is a pain with both manual and auto focusing.
