Another Lemania chronograph today. Caliber 15TL. Bought from the grandson of the original owner. I had promised myself to slow down a bit after a spree, but this one was too nice to let go. Came with a receipt of a relative recent movement service as well! (And I have a correct crown in the box....)
My first vintage Breitling arrived today! It's a Top Time 810, Venus 178 movement, and the 38mm case is perfect for my wrist. Loving this one...
Excellent catch Nigel! Looks like you've been putting my tip to good use! hope u bring it along at the next GTG!
Fitting in with my Military theme is this 1939 Birks Omega, double signed dial. The movement is Omega. Birks is the Canadian version of Tiffany, and as a bonus the caseback number matches the lug number. Cheers, Buster
OK it is official. I have secured these two. Coming as a pair. 2782 Cal 354 -1954 and 14902 Cal 561 - 1962. Seller's photo. They will arrive late October and I can't wait!!!
Something like that Connies are in Amsterdam. They will come to me via a collectors meeting in Schaffhausen. I have very reliable mules.
Just arrived, a beautiful small (33mm) Tissot ref. 808A with the Lemania cal. 1281 (similar to the Omega 321 I believe) from the later '50s.
You can click on the photo for a CLOSE UP! (unless you may be squeamish to see human wrist hairs at 40X...)
