Bought this remarkably clean set the other day. Also started a vintage tool thread for those interested:

This arrived today. Been lusting after one of these for quite some time after seeing the other forum members examples. Hope to get some better pics in a more conducive light tomorrow...

Very nice indeed! This one is on my short list too, will be a nice companion to the 105.003.

It's too dark to get any nice natural light shots and I'm no photographer, but here are some quick pics of my new (and first purchase) Omega. It's more of a dress watch than my X-33 which is what I was looking for. Also, what do you guys like to use to clean off your watches that doesn't scratch them?

Still looking: Anyone has a chrono seconds hand for a cal 2/481 they can help please PM me!!!👍

I told you I had a good feeling about this one!!! It had all the right tells. Congrats, bro-ham!!!!!!!!!!!

Is that a cobalt dial? It's beautiful

I use dish machine detergent and automotive paint polish / wax on all my wrist watches. This stuff works like a dream:

It is. It changes colors depending on how the light hits it. I'll upload some pictures in the brighter natural light tomorrow after I bring it into the Omega boutique for a check up. Ive never had a non quartz watch and the date is acting a little weird and i hear a rattling noise when i shake it, I'm not sure if its normal.

Here's some better pictures in the sun. The camera can't capture the beauty of the blue dial.

I knew that Hodinkee's weekly round-up was going to get me eventually. Today was that day. This is incoming...will report back on Tuesday. Can't wait to check out the micro-rotor up close.

Will be a while before I have this one in hand, as it will get a service before heading my way.

Anyone care to venture a guess based on the detail shown below? 😕

Orient?

Not even warm. 😁

Probably should have started a "20 questions" thread, but easy for someone with an interest in these.

Benrus?

This type of watch is not produced by those manufactures. 😀
