I actually like the look and feel of these kinds of straps, and shell cordovan straps, that are being made recently. Here is a similar one on a 6605 of mine, quite luxurious to hold and wear:

Just for the record - I do actually like the look of your straps, there was nothing personal in the remarks at all 馃榾
I actually made one for myself once, and it did look pretty good, I must say...

@Paedipod - you could make millions 馃槻

Picked this up out of pure curiosity really.

NOS condition, original box and papers no doubt enhance its collectibility and add significant value.

Not.

Too bad, that takes the value down by ... pennies.

On top of having the box and papers, mine is the LV version (that's the one with the green dial).

I like the perlons & have several myself.

Really wish they'd spend a few pennies more on a better buckle.

Agree, not really what it could be.

That must be the correct box because I used to own one exactly like it. Gave it away, I think......

Windy & I have enjoyed bowling with my parents whenever we go to see them. They gave us gift cards this past Christmas, so we're getting our own shoes/balls/bags for consistency. She already has new shoes, and I needed new ones in place of the decades-old pair I was using. My ball came via FedEx today so I took it and had it drilled. Brought the new shoes along too, and bought a bag to complete the set.

My pool cue is a vintage Brunswick and I know they make quality stuff so I was comfortable buying the ball online. My golf shoes are Dexter Dry Joys and have lasted over a decade so there was no doubt that was the brand I was going with out of the 4 choices I had at the store.
