And now for something completly different from my usual purchase. Just received : A silver decorated pocket watch. A standard and robust Omega 17 lignes caliber inside. Case serial number 1729XXX which dates it from around 1900. I really love this case decoration!
I can't remember if I posted sellers pictures of these, but they just arrived from UK. '50 Juvenia HW 17J This is one of those watches that looks good in the pictures, but looks 'oh, so fine' in the stainless steel flesh. The other is a '68 Tissot SeaStar HW cal. 781.1 on a beautiful mesh: These are two very wearable, thin watches. I think both are at 34 mm, but wear larger because of their small bezels. Quite pleased!
