路Just arrived and fresh from upwrapping - early dialled Flightmaster 910 with bangin' yellow hands.
When I first started my watch collecting journey I didn't have the slightest where to look for vintage watches, but I figured that the nearest congregation of junk and secondhand stores would be a start. So I found a vintage dealer, browsed his wares, and took to Omega like a fish to water. As I'd just started working I decided to start with a relatively inexpensive Omega Dynamic. It stopped after six months and turned out to be a franken, but that's another story...
At the time however there was a c.910 on display, and he encouraged me to try it on - presumably in hopes that I'd commit. I didn't have the funds and I didn't know the slightest thing about the watch... But I've never forgotten the magic of that moment when I placed it on my wrist. Like a gear clicking into place.
So, yeah. It's been a long hunt for the ideal piece, and I didn't hesitate when I finally found one that ticked all the boxes.
