Black Apple Watch rubber strap to go on my Space Black PVD finish Apple Watch with link bracelet Which would be awesome if I had my Apple Watch already... which I don't Shipping in June At Least I've got a strap to play with
I bought this el Primero for two reasons: 1/ I have been working my way up to servicing what is my true horological love. 2/ I got it at a good price that fits within my, "low enough cost to service myself" price range. That benchmark changes with my tinkering experience. The trouble is that: a) It has a display back - not a problem in itself but, b) It's a virgin and has never seen a screwdriver. Not a problem, but when coupled with a)..... bugger, bugger, bugger.
These two arrived this week. The first is a stepped bezel Tre Tacche with embossed(?) Breguet numerals. Its exact age is presently unknown (1941?). The second is a silver caliber 12.68Z from 1931. Longines sort of interests me
It arrived! I snagged the 176.0010 "Yachting" chrono. A little disappointed that it didn't come with a yacht...
Not quite new, as it arrived about 10 d ago, but just had a successful service, and a bit of crystal buffing. Added a beautiful Horween leather strap (Thank you woodwkr!), and here is the result:
This, for the Power Reserve above. (got to accessorize ) NOS I figure the Nautilus was made from 1957-1959, and my watch serial indicates 1959 (1088xxxx) so the guy that bought the Power Reserve could have seen this bracelet for sale at the AD and said I want that bracelet on it.(I would have, and now did) And it was done. How's my logic?
