Congratz!!!馃憤
A very nice Lemania "Omega" indeed! 馃槈
RCAF cal 2221?
Apart from the bridges being signed Omega, the caliber designation 2221 (hacking 2220) and the serial numbers you will find is Lemania numbers, not Omega. These are true classics and of extreme quality. Rugged and reliable, and with some very cleverly designed features.
One of my all time favorite chronos!
Omega and Lemania had the same owners (SSHI), so when an Omega distributor gained a military chronograph contract, they could supply watches with dials with either brand names, or neutral like yours.
Here is my Lemania "brother".
Thanks, it is the HA-62 indeed. Your LeMania is the rightful big brother!

Nice, mine has no serial number at the back either but per seller seems to be mowed off (notice the circle in the middle) when it was decommissioned. Pictures are all seller's

A note about my recent acquisition.
Jerome at Watch Vault NYC has gone above and beyond in making the purchase a pleasant experience. From acquiring the watch in a timely fashion to making sure it was sized properly. I couldn't be more pleased with the entire process....IMHO a first rate seller.

A sherpa graph, twenty minutes ago. And gunning for a tricompax this weekend or the next - if it hasn't already been sold at the shop!

Suggestions welcomed on how to obscure multiple extravagant purchases from girlfriend while still enjoying them.

Don't worry. There's no pics so she will not know. 馃槈

@lwong First, awesome purchase!! Both of those are on my short list, just saving up the funds and looking for the right ones! Pics of the sherpa graph would be awesome! 馃憤

Second, good luck with the obscuring! I go through the same thing with my girlfriend and at one point she finally stopped really caring. So now when she asks about a watch on my wrist, I just say I "had this one" or "its old and I found it for cheap" .. All relative terms of course 馃槣 Good luck

Unfortunately she knows I don't buy cheap. And whenever I tell her these are great investments (and they are!), she calmly points out to me that I've never sold a watch, ever.

The worst though, and this always gets a laugh whenever I speak with a vintage dealer, is that she always remarks that all my watches "look the same". As though a collector is obliged to buy everything different! The nerve.

PS: Watch being shipped to Singapore, so I won't be able to handle it till I'm back... Two months later. Sad, but better that than to risk French postal... Only bad experiences so far.

Interesting, do you have pictures of the caliber and inside caseback markings of the 23.4SC?

I will take photos later and post them. The calibre no. under the balance and very difficult to see with the balance in place, but it is definitely a 23.4SC.

It'll need a bit of work when it arrives but looking forward to getting it cleaned up
