Always will have a special bond with Sandy, after so many years we are an item and I am sure he knows it. To all you non dog/pet guys I know it sounds crazy but I am a believer
It majors in watch, but has a double minor in animals and alcohol. Goddammit, I'm getting out punned.
Cal. 283 oversize. It's got some issues like refinished dial and non original crown but it was love at first sight. Plus side is that it comes with original vintage buckle. Love the dial layout and how the case sides and lugs have been brushed. Gonna leave it as is and just replace the crown with oem one.
The white dial is yellow gold, the black dial is red gold... I don't know if it's Sedna or not... There's no price difference
Just couldn´t resist. Will need some work (both watch and bracelet), but I love these chunky Zenith watches from the 70´s.
It was a European buying spree ... I guess I should include this Yema sous marine that arrived from France: Has a French Ebauches cal 233-68 with a 55-hour PW! There's more details and pictures here: https://omegaforums.net/threads/a-yummie-yema-sous-marine.24381/#post-269071
Wouldn't you know it. I searched for this darned thing for close to two years, finally found me a service bezel insert (I'm guessing aftermarket because who sells only the bezel insert...?). And after I'd long given up searching for an original, @flame shares a link to a BIN DON bezel, and I see this freshly posted alongside for 250 euros. Oh what the hell, might as well.
