These just came in today (straps). Will put the bracelet back on the Skyfall.

Yeah I keep trying straps on my sky fall as well and it looks good but not as good as the bracelet.

Nice all around!!!!!

Thanks Everyone! The wife surprised me with a watch roll and a horween strap - it has taken 10 years, but I think she finally "gets" me 馃憤

10 years is not even "vintage" so it's not a bad timeline.

24 of April will be 10 years for is as well. I want a watch, she wants a ring.... So predictable.

Sweet!

If you don't like it, don't tell yourself or your feelings will be hurt. It's the thought that counts. [emoji512]

My WWW Dirty Dozen collection increased by one today. A shot in the dark really as I have no details on the movement other than it is running.
Dial looks well preserved for a 70yo, hands looks correct and the fixed lug bars are still there. Crown does not look right, but then again I know where to source the correct ones. It will be interesting to see the important rest of it also.

If someone is wondering: Sellers picture for sure! I have adjusted it a bit as the original posted ones was really poor.

Still a few to go.... 馃槑

I have a feeling it will clean up nicely as long as the movement is good. Got it at a good price, so if a service is all it takes, it will not break the bank.馃槜

A new beater for when I'm diving to incredible depths in the kitchen sink, working in the garage or doing other man stuff.

been a busy week

No shit! Yet another candidate for "Understatement of the Year" 2015. Nice to have a $10K budget per week!

This came in the mail today. Have been looking around for one for quite a while.

DSC_0264.jpg

I like the bracelet a lot, very comfortable. The problem is that my wrists are too think and the bracelet tapers. So when the bracelet it tight enough, I can't close the clasp. Same story on my Seamaster 176.007. So I either have to remove a link the non-replaceable way, switch to a strap or a mesh.
