Hey now, if ANYBODY writes rules about watches it's ME. However, the pre-dibs thing is a good idea. What did I buy today? Nothing yet..... but I gotta guy (very NJ/NY/Philly thing to say) at a big California winery who called me up with a deal on something previously unavailable so I might have to direct some more money towards the cellar. Wait, that's not true - I did place a tiny little order of a mere 3 bottles of Huet Vouvray that were on sale. Who can pass up a deal, eh?
Picked up today from a guy in my local area. Got it for a third off retail too and it's brand new and unworn...well, until now. This is my first brand new/non-vintage Omega.
Got this today, only because of the dual which I think is supercool. ETA 1101, NOS, but no case. Sooo, will I ever find a case for it?
The roof project is out of the way, I don't have to deal with shingles for the rest of my life! -that's according to the stated 40-year warranty. The 1040 project is now squared away - with some additional pain involved on the final line. Now it was time for some personal gratification... and here it is! Got a good deal on a complete set, never worn and with some OEM warranty remaining!
