I presume we will be reading future posts handwritten then photographed?
I just sold all my fountain pens last year. Darn computers...

Wanted an original box for my "new" Bulova Self-Winding.

    image.jpg

Saw this one and figured that the box was worth the opening bid.

And it was the winning bid! So now I have two.

Yes. They were telling you to use Gixen! :p On your mobile.

    Just got these:

The spring bars are cool, because you can buy 50 for five dollars, and they are 1.8 mm, and you order whatever sizes you want.

But also I got this, and I put it on one of the straps I bought in anticipation of the EW Speedy that wasn't meant to be; a Bulang and sons:

I started to put it on just a plain mat brown strap, but then I saw this one sitting helplessly nearby, and 'Eureka!''. The leather is rather thick, and it was a 20 mm into a 19 mm lug. It required a lot of persuasion to get it in, but the result was well worth it, thank you!

Cute toy. We let you take one lousy trip to Europe and you go all Euro-artsy on us. ::facepalm2::
You need to take a trip out to the northwest and visit Standy.
Get back to your roots man, before it's too late.

We dont have pens, everything is carved with a knife in a tree. Got to make it a solid tree with a CAT4 Cyclone just about to hit.

    Cat 4?

    Pfffft!

You should have been there for Tracey, now THAT was a Cat 4!

I flew in the morning after and saw a DC3 in the COs front garden

Seriously mate, keep your head down and the beer cold. Stay safe.

Funny as i had to clear a yacht not long ago, and had to take all the overseas fruit and veggies off a couple of French vegetarians on the yacht. Stripped them bare of everything didn't even leave them with a lentil or half a mung bean. Even charged them couple of hundred $ to do it.:D:D

Very confused by yacht and veggie hijack - one for the weird file anyway.

Regardless of what is says, not an omega, but a lovely thoughtful valentines present from my wife who knows what's important in life:

There's no dot over 90 bezel, but the lume still glows brightly at night. Couple of missing pushers, so am unable to test the chrono functionality.
