Are you a Speedmaster or a Seamaster person?

Seamaster for me as I’m not a chronograph person (yet!). Do you learn to love the non taper bracelet of the modern SMP?
I did. Great watch. Average deviation last month was +/- 0.6 SPD.

I learnt (over the time) NOT to love the non taper bracelet of the modern SMP.
Changed to straps.
I like the tapering bracelet (20 to 15mm) on 3861 SMP. Will going to check with omega if that is available for purchase.

Love the white dial Olympic limited edition model. When did you get it? Is it the Calibre 1861 inside?

Will check that out! Always happy with a strap monster of a watch though!

original 1948 seamaster ck 2518 & ck 2577 side by side?

The small second is a CK2759 from 1954 caliber 410 (manual winding), the central one is from 1952 with automatic caliber 354 (stunning watch)

Speedmaster for me, but I'm a chronograph guy and not a diver guy.

Original CK2915? Looks in pretty good shape.

I'd consider myself a Speedmaster guy. I like the history around it and of course its design with several of its variations. I actually own to Speedys (1863&DSOTM) and no Seamaster but I definitely consider a Seamaster PO. I believe the PO being more sturdy even more as I shy away wearing a Speedy on vacation.

The Speedy is the defining watch of my generation (moonlanding and all that), so I am firmly in the Speedy camp ... although a rather cool Seamaster has found a way into my collection as well 😀

I'd definitely say that I'm both a seamaster and speedmaster fan, but I'm a fan of the vintage seamasters ( 1950s-60s dress and those Seamaster 300s), and a fan of the modern speedmaster, great all around everyday piece!

I've never been interested in Chronographs and I'm probably the biggest non-Speedy Omega fan. I mean I like the Speedy's, just never cared enough to want one.

Two weeks ago, I was not interested in either. Today, I realized that I have been missing out!
