Hello valuable OF members.
I would like to have your input regarding these hands on Connie ref 168.004.
Most of 168.004 shown either here or on the net have dauphine hands, but none of the hands in below picture!
Knowing Omega back then can sometime put different hands according to their stock ... Could these hands be legit on a gold capped 168.004 with onyx inserts.
Thank you in advance.

I'd be very surprised - the length alone is off (too short). Our resident expert on these (even though he might refuse that title) @Peemacgee will probably be able to say for certain? 😀

Edit: Also, checking the dial now... the font looks off

Dial is refinished, lugs look overpolished, i believe crown is wrong too (should be a hidden crown). I'd pass.

I agree with both of the guys above ( especially the bit about me not being an expert….😉)
Polished case
Wrong hands (all three)
Refinished dial
Odd looking replacement crown
- and an unusual crystal/ retaining ring combo

might make a good daily beater if it were very cheap

Thank You All for information. It really helps. But I hope that photo quality does not make justice to the watch since seller used to be honest in his watch description in the past. I did not yet see the watch in flesh (asking price 790 usd) and I really consider to buy that timepiece. So when I meet seller tomorrow I will scrutinize detail inconsistencies you pointed out.
There are some additional photos from seller.
Thanks

The watch also has a fake replacement medallion
The gap between retaining ring and dial shouldn’t be there
I’d be interested in seeing the movt

The seller might not know better, it's entirely possible. But so far we havent really found any parts on it that are legitimate and in good condition. I'd stay away by quite a bit tbh and the price doesn't reflect any of those shortcomings.

This model is not uncommon, and pops up for sale now and then. Don't bother with this one. Especially not at 790 USD.

@Peemacgee and @MtV
A hard pass although it hurts...
For the shake of clarity I add movement photo below
Tks

Not that this would make much of a difference after everything else, but it's missing (at least) one of the screws that hold the movement in place. 😁
