Stumbled upon an interesting speedmaster with some odd hour and minute hands. Is this someone that have painted them like this or are they from an actual special model of some sort?

I was thinking they might come from a Mark or Hodinkee version... but I can find any with the black not going out on the hand slightly (compare images below).

Does anyone know what hands these are?

Honestly if it's tritium in there, no way that's from a modern luminova watch, and I think it someone probably painted it like that long ago. I don't know why they would, but...

I looked at one of those as well and the same thing. Hands painted a bit out on the hands. I guess this is a custom paint job done on this one.

No off a something that used a lemania 1873 (861 omega) It’s not an uncommon movement and the theory is it was a readily available spare. We used to see a lot more of these hands on watches on eBay. They are more narrow then the mkii. Been a year or so since I’ve seen this.

It is possible the white flaked off at a service and this was the easy fix...

but these hands used to be common. If it was a fix for flaked paint you would see some sign of it and I don’t think any showed that.
