General Omar Bradley's 5 star accutron, 1969. Given to approximately 12 people as gifts when he was president of bulova. It is unconfirmed so far, but the watch may have been gifted to the Emperor of Ethiopia, Haile Selassie. He was confirmed to have met Omar Bradley in 1963 during a state visit and is quoted saying he enjoying meeting him. He did another state visit in 1969 and also toured NASA launch facilities. Would love to find a smoking gun photograph or other evidence if anybody studies NASA photographs from the apollo 11 pre-launch events.

Beautiful, but also sad. Kind of like being EJ Smith (Captain of the Titanic) at 11:39pm 4/14/12

As a newbie to vintage watches and having sworn that i would stick to Omega while finding my feet, I have just purchased this Bulova 666 'Devil Diver' - fell in love with the ghosted bezel! (watch is still making its way to me...)

Thanks @hmmmcamu - opportunity arose to grab this at very reasonable price (I think!) and I just loved the look while knowing little of the watch's specs... research following purchase isn't normally the right order!...

For those interested, both the watch and the 500mm Zeiss camera Telelens he was wearing, were sold at auction!

Since at @hmmmcamu bought all the real ones, I had to settle for the reissue.

And this popped up on our equivalent to eBay; snared it for equivalent of USD650 which will hopefully turn out to be an ok deal but the watch is just great to look at regardless...
