My daughter turned 15 on Tuesday. For her birthday she recieved her great great grandmother's 1924 Bulova. I have mentioned this before, but here it is on her wrist.

My only hummer and one that took a while to track down with a.coffin link bracelet.
I've had this one serviced by Bob Pike but I didn't have any restoration work done.
It's a 60yo watch and it's earned the right to wear it's age.
I do have a 2nd set of HR/Min hands with a more substantial lume fill that I will swap in at some stage.

That really is in beautiful condition.
So nice to see a set of hands that have held their lume and that the bezel and plexi are pristine.
Mine is an M4 serial so a 1964 watch.

Thank you. The crystal cleaned up nicely with some polywatch.

I was thinking how nice it is to see one with its original bracelet.

General Omar Bradley's 5 star accutron, 1969. Given to approximately 12 people as gifts when he was president of bulova. It is unconfirmed so far, but the watch may have been gifted to the Emperor of Ethiopia, Haile Selassie. He was confirmed to have met Omar Bradley in 1963 during a state visit and is quoted saying he enjoying meeting him. He did another state visit in 1969 and also toured NASA launch facilities. Would love to find a smoking gun photograph or other evidence if anybody studies NASA photographs from the apollo 11 pre-launch events.

Today bought this 5 star Accutron, looks same as your's . Wondering if someone has an idea who K.Y. Might be ?

One favourite Bulova of mine is this one. It is a 1944 Blackhawk model. Bulova ran the Blackhawk for a number of years in the early 1940s. It was apparently aimed at returning military personnel. Manual winder. I like it because of its rather unusual design. There were subtle changes to the design over the years of production.
