It's not about reality. It's about perception and being chic. It's "in" to be a veggie. Personally, I like being out of style with my filets and prime rib.

路As bad as the videos are, I did enjoy (as comedy) the 'what type of person wears a XXXX' videos.

However, three years later he contradicts himself and buys a gold submariner, He also said buy a vintage from a trusted dealer of his. However, members from here bought a compax from the same dealer recommended by Archie and it turned out to be a franken.

路I think he is funny, he clearly makes money of the channel as he is always pushing donations ect, so. Whatever you say he isn't stupid. He is out for a reaction and people hate on him allot, he must love that.
I think if you watched all his videos back to back its same shit, but I think like me when I was looking for a video on the speedy and he pops up its funny and I have to admit my Mrs wasn't going to let me buy a new speedy because of the price, and I couldn't show her a video or a watch in her word would be nobby, but a funny video explaining why you buy the hasilate glass, manual wind, solid back, was funny and educational (watches for dummy's) lol
I don't mind him but I wouldn't watch his hour long why his is broke specials or anything like thst, take him with the finest pinch of salt and it's a laugh on what is normally a very serious matter of watches 馃榾

It is a shame because he has some reasonable knowledge but his swearing and constant contradictions spoil it. I still watch him from time to time and have a laugh along with the watch reviews.

路The guy's entertainment, his horology advice, take it with a grain of salt. Although I have to agree with him on modern Tag's. A lot of his narrative is repetitive so it gets boring. Best to revisit every couple of months.

He occasionally has some interesting opinions and more knowledge than the other Youtube self acclaimed watch experts...and did have quite a good watch collection in the past (Breguet, Patek as well as the traditional Omega, Rollies and JLC)... but he is increasingly becoming repetitive to the point of total boredom..man on the mooooon watch...Explorer 2 16570 Polar best bang for buck GMT...OMG.
He has no idea what Omega are doing at all in their latest releases...hates Nomos...a complete bigot in so many ways...someone I would sincerely avoid in just about any social occasion...he is hardly a reference of good taste...perhaps more of an a*hole reference...which I suppose is quite compatible with his gold sub馃槈
