It is funny hearing him talk about TAG or Bvlgari watches or any of the other brands we do not see on this message board. Not much new coming from him lately and not really much of a reason to go back once you heard his rantings a few times. Maybe I will check back on his channel in 6+ months and see if anything has changed.

He's currently in Thailand "tasting" the sites....

The Tag videos on the 1887 movement were hilarious as always he dramatised everything. He had a special school kid moment when he held his Patek to the camera, priceless comedy. To be fair theTag CEO tried to cover up the fact they claimed the 1887 was in house when it was based on a Seiko movement. Swiss watches and Japanese watches should remain seperate or at the very least tell the public what they are buying. The Seiko GS has its own special and deserved place in Horology, that being said it is very different from the Swiss equivalent. I apologise in advance for not agreeing with the status quo of the forum. That being said differences of opinions make a forum an interesting and diverse place that allows people to share their opinions. You see how the guy gets under your skin! I am not even a hardcore fan and find a lot of his videos to be contradictory. However, like him or hate him you can't ignore or forget him. LOL

I don't doubt you. However, like him or hate him he is occupying our time.

Going to the pooper occupies my time, too. Yes - we know he exists and we're talking about him. It doesn't mean anything except that he has exposure. In the world of Youtube, that's all that matters - but on this forum, we're talking about his material. And even with that - the majority of people have said they don't watch his stuff.

I agree with every point you said. I like some of his stuff and I am not trying to convince anyone to be a fan. My point is that he has managed to get under peoples skin and as you said get exposure. For the ability he has of marketing himself on that point alone he has succeded, like him or not.

I liked watching his bits early on but they soon became irrational, inconsistent, and down right stupid even before he branched out to 99% filler video content just for his own sake of acquiring views for money. It changed quickly and became unwatchable well before the off topic filler vids. His passion seemed real years ago but it faded along with his mental capacity some time back before he lost his decent collection of genuinely nice pieces which he threw in the audiences' faces' over and over.

Now it's not even luxury/watch related at all. It's far from funny or watchable at this point. Maybe he needs to create a new character or something. I wish nobody ill harm but I could see himself getting into trouble very easily with the wrong person.

I agree. A few years ago it was not great but way better than now.

I wish youtube had a way to personally block certain posters (maybe it does and I haven't found it).

My biggest beef with Archie/youtube search is that he publishes so many videos trying to search for certain watches and topics and you get almost nothing other than Archie results. I have no need to ever watch another video of his ever.

As bad as the videos are, I did enjoy (as comedy) the 'what type of person wears a XXXX' videos.

The Patek and Rolex ones in particular.
