The new METAS certified 8000 series movements are great, but I never discount the 2500. Among my other Omegas, I own a 2017 SMPc with the 2500d and my SO has a 2018 De Ville Prestige with the same movement. Both of these watches are more accurate than the caliber 8900 METAS certified movement in my Globemaster which is consistently +5 SPD. The 2500d is also thinner which makes for a less bulky case.
I found this to be true as well. My 2503 is less than 1 seconds fast a day. New 8800? +3. Still good but the 2500 continues to impress.

IMHO the Skyfall is one of the nicest Modern Omegas made. I hope to own one soon!馃グ

I prefer to keep these for formal wear but frankly, who gets to do that these days?

I鈥檓 looking for a blue skyfall but for casual wear.. I think it鈥檚 a very under the radar look with full brushed bracelet. Would suit me perfectly with jeans and a polo or shorts and a T I think.

Sounds good to me. The joy of this hobby is we can do as we choose can't we?

So not to be mistaken, in Skyfall Bond I use a 38.5mm date-framed aquaterra. and on Specter you used a frameless 41mm aquaterra on the date, is that right?

and in the two models with the polished bracelet in the center? Do you know the exact reference of the two models that appeared in the two films?

Skyfall's is 231.10.39.21.03.001 and Spectre's (and looks like a part of No Time to Die as well) is 231.10.42.21.03.003.

I have the 41.5 mm Blue Skyfall with framed date window and fully brushed bracelet. I love it and think it does what you鈥檙e asking perfectly. It is getting harder to find these, but it鈥檚 beautiful while not being as flashy as the newer ones with PCLs.

I have the 41.5 Skyfall, and because I have the blue dial, I want the white dial/blue hands and indices...

i tried on an AT 8500 master 38.5. Loved it.

However. I already have the 2503:

I have a couple questions. If you guys could only have one Aqua Terra which would you pick? My white face or the newer model? Also what's the difference between the master coaxial and the Skyfall besides the new polished center links? Is it the same bracelet on the new model, or the same bracelet just POLISHED, or an entirely new setup? What's the difference between the movements? More magnetic resistance?

I love the blue and the 38.5. I would appreciate thoughts, opinions and impressions. Thanks!

Fusion,

It would need to be the Master Chronometer movement for me!

Oh and it looks great on brown leather too!
Looks great @MtnMarine. Do you happen to know the model number for this is 231.10.42.21.03.001?

I鈥檓 loving my blue Spectre. Beautiful dial, awesome movement.

When I re-opened this thread I was pretty sure I wanted a Skyfall, since then I am now leaning towards the Spectre (as long as I can pull off the bigger case size) Such a useful thread. Thanks everyone.
