i tried on an AT 8500 master 38.5. Loved it.

However. I already have the 2503:

I have a couple questions. If you guys could only have one Aqua Terra which would you pick? My white face or the newer model? Also what's the difference between the master coaxial and the Skyfall besides the new polished center links? Is it the same bracelet on the new model, or the same bracelet just POLISHED, or an entirely new setup? What's the difference between the movements? More magnetic resistance?

I love the blue and the 38.5. I would appreciate thoughts, opinions and impressions. Thanks!

Interesting - I was pretty sure my next watch would be the Skyfall, but recently I've been looking at the White-dialled model you have and it's definitely growing on me! How do those blue hands/markers look in reality? They look great on the pics I've seen!

I'd go with either the Master or the Skyfall. I like and owned the white dial 2500 you have. The clasp to me, wasn't up to snuff.

The 8500 movement represents Omega kicking everyone's ass. If you are looking for something dressy, that you can wear say, with a polo to a suit, the Master might be perfect. Not sure how it'd work with a T-shirt though.

The previous Skyfall model would work similar to your current AT, IMO. More everyday, that can be dressed up or dressed down. You lose the antimagnetic master movement, but the date window might be nicer on the Skyfall.

    All great watches though. Win/win/win

There may be one motivation to wait a little on the current 'master' AT 8500. It's likely that the AT (and many if not most Omega offerings) will eventually be labeled as

    "Co-Axial [escapement]"
    "Master Chronometer"

    by the year 2018.

This labeling, vs. the current label, just means that the "Chronometer" designation will comply with a newer, more comprehensive testing regime [METAS] rather than the usual COSC regime.

Just picked up the 41.5mm version myself.

Actually an early birthday / 1st Father's Day gift from the wife.

WOW! Awesome pics guys.. I REALLY like this new model. Did not think I would be a fan of the arabic but it is growing on me. that extra .5 seconds you save reading the time could be nice too. I appreciate the thoughts and community! I will update with what I do.

Although I would never endorse buying with a 'collector's mind'...
You have to wonder if the Master coaxial label will become more collectable... What was it? One year of dials?
    Pretty short run...

@Superdoc -- yeah, the present AT labeling would have to be considered "transitional". It will be interesting to see when the next re-labeling occurs, sometime between now and 2018 I presume.

This one is the transitional - they will probably never make another 8508.
    image.jpg
8508 then Master Co-Axial then Co-Axial Master Chronometer

True Story, that's the true transitional for sure. The master c will also count but that 15g legend I think will take the lead.
