Aqua Terra Caseback Scratches because of OEM Bracelet

Hello all. Has anyone noticed that when you take off the OEM bracelet on an Aqua Terra it leaves scratches from where the bracelet overlaps the caseback.

I’ve highlighted the strap levers that overlap in the attached picture. You obviously only notice this if you put another strap on. Quite annoying. What do you guys think? Have you noticed this?

I checked and can confirm mine has minor scratches from this as well. It doesn’t bother me in the slightest, but that’s just me.

I think it is quite common on more Omegas... I had these also after taking the bracelet off of my Moonwatch. And yes, it is a bit annoying.😀

I refuse to show a picture of the back of any watch I own on this site - I don’t want to cause any heart attacks!

It’s not unusual, both my 1680 Submariner and 116520 Daytona have marks under their bracelets also

Yes, but I don't care what the underside of my lugs look like. I do so many strap and bracelet changes they're going to get marked up but I don't care at all. I only look at that part of the watch when I'm switching the strap/bracelet.

Every watch that has end links with side tabs I've ever owned have had scratches there. No issue, IMO.

It's metal on metal, it will scratch. My X-33 G2 with titanium bracelet has the same marks. Well, much worse since I used to wear it a lot and still do for sports. Just had a look and there has been so much rubbing that clear "pits" have formed under the side tags. Doesn't bother me, just shows it was been well used. Wear and tear happens when you actually use stuff, shocking I know.

EDIT: One of the 4 tabs has broken off as well. I vaguely recall falling onto my hands once quite hard (maybe while snowboarding) and the angle put a lot of force on bracelet. Didn't snap the pins though so watch was safe.

pretty standard, even when removing bracelets with tools the lugs suffer the worst.

best bet is to lock the brand new watch away in a dry dark safe place.

UV rays will degrade the outer cardboard box as well.
