Yes, the feet are different from 321 to 861. You may find the feet have been removed and the dial has been glued on.

A 321 dial fits to the 861 movement, the dial pins just need to be slimmed down and shortened.

This is an old 321 dial I had and fitted it to 861 movement

But is the dial defiantly a 321??
It is not of any acceptable 321 dial variant.

It is a different variant of a ‘long hour indices’ Speedmaster Professional dial.
It is fitted to an 861 movement which means it could not have 321 style dial feet.

It also has ‘Narrow T’s’ on the bottom which doesn’t line up with any 861 Applied logo dial.
Additionally, if you carefully examine the OMEGA Speedmaster Professional print on the dial you’d notice that it does not match up with any of the acceptable dial variants deemed correct by literature and scholars for any of the ‘Pre-moon’ Speedmaster Professional references.

I have seen one more MKII with this type of dial in the past. Unfortunately, I do not have photos.

We could only assume that this is some sort of a Applied logo dial with 861 feet that somehow found its way into this watch.

I have also seen applied logo Pre-Professional dials (with narrow T’s) that had 861 feet, so we know such dials were indeed manufactured by Singer at some point, yet are not correct for any of the known Speedmaster references.

So it’s a fake?
Or
Could it be a service dial?
Not a fake.
Could be some variant of an early service dial that found its way into this watch.

Thanks
I’ll go ahead and swap the dials
At least the mark 11 will be correct!

I dont think it can be a service dial for 861 as it has the narrow T SWISS MADE T - this was superseded by the wide version before the 861 was produced.

But anyway it looks like a great dial 👍

Thanks
The watch maker said it was original ie it hadn’t been re-finish
It would be nice to know what it is
