7070 units then I’m out

Views like this always amazes me Because if they only make 2000 your probably out also due to minimal numbers

( no shot at you @rohnin just the view that the less made the more people will like it but it’s actually they are less likely to get one also )

Looking at the current LE numbers It is very likely to be like that.

Well there's a #SpeedyTuesday on 14th April 2020... so it could be 2020 pieces 👎
Whatever it will be, at those prices I'm no longer a customer and would advise people new-to-the-hobby to buy a real 1960s 321 at that money!
Just will be following the ongoings to see if Omega, who cares so deeply about the Speedmaster community, will do something to get these commemorative 50th A13 directly to the community aficionados and if they will take the opportunity to provide the historic details of the 14 sec LM DPS burn...

Really hoping they make two versions. One for the masses and one for the collectors, but not in full gold. As much as I love the Apollo 11 50th, it is just way too many to make it special. Sure there is the moonshine gold. But man that's mad expensive. Give us a steel in cal. 321 with an interesting design and premium, but keep the quantities low! (even for Omega standards)

I heard yesterday from an Omega store in Paris it will be (maybe) a snoopy #speedytuesday, in April. On the other hand, another Omega store told me today it will be for the end of the year...

Robert-Jan (Fratello) stated a month or so ago that there will not be a #speedytuesday in 2020.

The 321 is being delivered on, abet these will only trickle in. IMHO I'm expecting a 3861 similar to the A11 50th, especially as not being the standard movement... yet 😗

As for numbers, a LE run of 1970 has been done, if repeated, these would be hoovered up by premium clientele knowing previous Snoopy LEs are close to unobtainiums for most. Would this also, initially, conflict with the 321s for those without deeper pockets?

A similar number to the A11 50th would be preferable, 6970? I'm then also in with a chance of owning one 😎
Being an A13 50th, possibly Snoopy related, those numbers could easily be sold in, and out.

We have an A8 DSOTM and A11 50th LE, both ~mid £7k... and selling, I expect similar, with moonshine somewhere.

Making enquiries at a couple of local ADs (UK) but alas, nothing and where I purchased my A11 50th, they wouldn't consider a waiting list, let alone a deposit until anything is announced 🙁

😲 Could it be that a 3861 A13 IS the Speedmaster Professional replacement for the 1861... 🍿

Unfortunately, I fear another release that will miss the mark for me... an LE with way too many pieces, overpriced gold edition, and too derivative. Prove me wrong Omega, please.

Any news on this, given Apollo 13 is upcoming. I know given the global situation, they may not do anything (or if they do, it will be only online). Just curious if anyone has heard anything

I can understand not launching an Apollo 13 50th anniversary this month but how will they market it if the current situation lasts until end of year.

Next week, April 14th is a #SpeedyTuesday in the midst of the 50 years Apollo 13 week ...
IMHO the excellent & only opportunity for Omega to present the look of the 50 years Apollo 13 tribute Speedmaster chronograph... of course in cooperation with some great photos at the Omega website and Fratellowatches.com
🤔

I don’t think so! Amidst of this terrible situation with half of dealers even closed! Omega will delay it until it is appropriate! Means to me Within the second half, most likely September!

It's almost fitting that the release of the 50th anniversary Apollo 13th Speedmaster is delayed. The mission itself had so many issues

There is so little watch action at present I suspect Omega will announce something. Give the journalists and SM sites something to talk about.

Hope and wish they won't postponed the launch.

I mean why should they do of course situation is what it is. They announce 321 steel beg jan and we are still waiting for the first one to come out. So they could easily release the 50th anniversary Apollo 13th tomorrow or let's say next week with nice pictures and they have time to deliver the firsts watches later in the year as they normally do.

This is what I hope ...
