My boutique manager said this watch may be revealed around Christmas since the 1970 Apollo 13 mission occurred in April 1970. The thought being that Omega will get out ahead of the anniversary hoopla. My guess is they'll wait until after the Christmas season, but I do love a good rumor! Anybody else getting some good intel/fake news?

I have heard the same that the watch might be out for Christmas time. I just hope that not only precious metals will be available. I like gold but not the price point.

 

If they follow the Apollo 11 model, the gold ones will come out first ☹️

I tend to agree since they just did one for the 45th Anniversary, but I'm hoping I'm wrong!

 

I think for this special anniversary a Snoopy is a Must.

Besides Omega knows a snoopy will sale like candy on Halloween .

What I’m hopping is a full steel and not moonshine/steel like the A11 50th.

I like the A11 50th but is not for everyone and for everyday watch.

 

A13 50th - Stainless Steel, 3861 movement, white dial, black sub dials, orange hands, A13 mission patch on the case-back and limited to 10,000 units priced at €10,000.
