I'm trying to remember the keys to locating a fake 6105
1. Crown... fake have only 5 teeth in each section
2. Date Wheel surround window has sharp edges on fake dial, more rounded in authentic
3. Hands on fake don't have beveled edges and are more rounded on tips
4. Bezel does not have grainy finish, but rather shiny on a fake
5. Dial lume tends to be more greenish in color, the lume markers edges are rounded in a fake

What have I missed... it's been awhile. But, the OP's watch looks good from what I can see.

6. Flat top "A" in Japan on original dial.
7. Seconds hand surface should flat, aftermarket tend to have rounded appearance.
8. Large triangle on bezel insert which runs down over inside edge of bezel and there should be a gap between the top of the triangle and the outside edge of the bezel.
9. The middle segment on the number "3" on the bezel insert should have a slight curve outwards towards the end

You brought back fond memories... I recalled all except the flat top "A" in Japan. Thanks.

I’m confused. You’re selling it for a friend but don’t want any offers to buy?

It is simple, I want to make sure I know what I am selling is correct first. I am not that familiar with this model and found a few pitfalls while researching. I also now want to find out what the price should be for a good example, this is not my property and I want to make sure I am doing the right thing by my friend in the asking price.
Also, I didn’t want this to look like a veiled sales post.
Cheers, Michael
