I would agree with Steve on the valuation BUT this is one of the nicest black, textured dial connies you will likely ever see for sale EVER. Taking that into consideration, even the full $3000 asking isn't totally out of line.

Are you serious that anyone should pay this much money on the basis of two photographs, no movement or case back inside shots, no proper description, and no cal reference, serial numbers or date? It may be a very nice watch, but really the buyer has hardly any info to make a judgement on . . . 😵‍💫 And that engraving is pretty naff - it would certainly put me off.

Yes, typically you would want the added pictures. I will say though that some of the nicest vintage omegas are watches that have never been opened!

Going to be my greatest watch regret then. At least for now.

I can still recall, this same eBayer sold an Omega Constellation in stainless-steel, totally mint and unused condition, some four or five years ago. According to him, the case had never been opened (unable to recall whether the watch comes with papers or not). I can remember the dial is two-color guilloche silver.

How much he sold for? A whopping US$10 000.00!

Thank-you.

I would love to have seen that watch!

Has anyone got any pictures at all?

Thanks
