Looks like WMT thinks there are enough people who like oxidized hands to make them a “feature” on brand new watches:

It will be interesting to see how these old/new watches sell. I’ll be watching for the big dogs in the prestige watch industry start offering fauxtina watches.

Personally, when I see perfect hands on that reference it deserves a closer inspection.

I think you just hit on another reason I like them. When I see them on a vintage piece - it screams original and untouched.
