·A black bay 54 or a pelagos 39 is a good puchase. In spain there is a lot of postureo with the submariners.
Picked up the 54 at my AD yesterday and had it on the wrist since.
Lovely watch with very slim profile.
T fit clasp fantastic and easy-adjust has been useful given the current wee heatwave in Scotland.
Previously have owned a black bay and Tudor GMT but moved them on as felt they wore thick on the wrist.
The 54 has a vintage feel about it yet still feeling modern. Recommended.
If anyone has missed it, Greg at True Patina on Instagram has modified his BB54 with a big crown and ultimately gold plated hands.
The hands make such a difference — I still don't understand who thought it would be a good idea to pair snowflake hands on a rounded index dial, and proceed to make that the main theme of the modern lineup...

Why they don’t just reissue this one I don’t know .
That's an absolutely beautiful watch.
However, I really don't mind the snow flake hand as the hour hand. It looks just fine to me. My only Tudor is a GMT - and it looks great from my perspective. I like the changes they made to the BB54 - including the polka dot second hand.
This is the first time I've heard of the Black Bay One. I found the picture below on the Tudor website – it definitely confirms my suspicion that the Black Bay 58, and probably most of the Black Bay line, would look much better without the snowflake handset.
