Anyone else interested in the Tudor BB 54 ?

Dear Owners of a BB54.

I have question: what are your thoughts regarding the 'new' BB54 monochrome?
From what I have read and see online, this model could be the closest one to a vintage tudor submariner without having to break the bank ( for the record I already own a vintage rolex submariner 14060).

I think you mean the BlackBay 41mm monochrome. I really like and hope there will be the same colourway released for the BB54 in the future.

Oups. I got confused. I thought the monochrome was the 'new' bb54.

Ok. Now got another question: the bb54 is bigger then the 41 or the same? Iam really confused.

Much much smaller. 37mm vs 41mm. And it wears small imo. In-between is the BB58

I agree. Iam not going to the Tudor AD or boutique in Monaco. The reason is very silly: both Tudor and Rolex have the same AD. After a nice first contact regarding an explorer ( got it in 2 weeks), I have received a cold shower on the second contact. I don't like when someone tells me: ' we will contact you if we allow you to spend your money on our product'.
Not silly at all, it’s why many of us refuse to patronize any Rolex boutique or AD who treats customers like that. The AD in my area is very nice and when I asked one of the guys there how he feels about an entire section of their store with empty showcases he said he hates telling customers no. He always tries to show them other watches (like Omega) but he said most people who come in to buy a Rolex only want a Rolex and leave angry.

Thank you for the explanation and clarification. Now iamnot sue I want t the monochrome. Need to recheck the bb54 and see.

I will say, props to him for sharing the prices and details.

The entire build itself isn’t cheap, but I do find the crystal mod quite attractive and would be tempted if I had this watch.

Thank you! Wonder why he doesn’t just use or offer aftermarket Mercedes hands for that mod. I’ve always thought about picking up a BB36 and popping some Mercedes hand in there and aftermarket ones are readily available of course.
