Seems to be less common than the vintage 1039 and 1171. Anybody have one? Comfortable? Good quality?

Yes, they're great. Very comfortable IMO, a bit more solid feeling than the 1039 and more vintage-looking than the 1171. The links are removed using tiny little spring-bars.

very comfortable, I have one on my 145.022-71 and looks thicker than the 1171 and the look is more vintage. I had a 1171 too on a 145.022-74 and I felt more stiffer but still comfortable

One of my favorite bracelets, classic looks, good heft and comfortable. FYI, endlinks might be difficult to find if you need them. 640 are the ones you want, 47 will fit but does differ with grooves on top.

edited: 640 are correct not 633’s

I have the 47 but they are so in a bas shape, are you sure about the 633? I understood that the proper are the #640, am I right?

Finally I got my #640 endlinks from OD last week!
It has been a lucky to find a dealer providing to me the endlinks PN 026st640 and they fits perfectly on 1175 bracelets.
Below some pictures of the watch at the complete set of originality as stated by the Omega extract

Hello, I'm looking for a bracelet for my ST 145.022-69 with a Pre Moon Case back (engraved seehorse), a DON bezel and a 861 movement.

Is the bracelet 1175 / 640 correct for my Speedmaster? I just saw the bracelet table above and I'm not sure what 145.0022 means for this bracelet. Year-wise it would fit to my Speedmaster which was sold 1971 according to the extract.

If not correct for my watch, which one would?

I would welcome any input! Thank you!

It could be correct, but we really can't tell you which bracelet was originally sold with your watch. IMO it's equally important for you to decide which bracelet you prefer; after all, you are going to wear it.

It's interesting that you have a DON bezel on a watch delivered (not sold) in 1971. It would be helpful if you could share the first 5 digits of the serial, which is maybe more relevant. People with similar serials could chime in. FWIW, I had a 29,602,XXX that came with an 1175.

Thank you for your response, Dan!

The bracelet doesn't have to be exactly the one that was sold with my watch. As it doesn't say in the extract, it's impossible to know, I guess. But anyhow I'm looking for a bracelet that could have been sold or delivered with it. If that's the case with the 1175, I would be happy. Some article said that the 1175 was delivered with 145.022-69 but not with the ones with Pre-Moon case backs as these are earlier ones. If that's not true, I would go for the 1175 because these ones are really nice looking and more affordable.

Any final input would be welcomed if the 1175 COULD BE the original one!

As for DON bezel: My serial is 32201....
I'm attaching some photos.

Interesting. This appears to be an outlier. Given the 32.2M serial, based on the conventional wisdom, if it was originally a -69, one would have expected a straight-writing case-back, and a DNN bezel of course. Very unusual to see a DON after 30.6M, so 32.2M is extremely late. Of course, it adds value in any case.

In any case, I think an 1175 would be fine.
