Some countries have scanners that read several throughout the whole system.
USA parcels I can read USPS until it hits Australia on USPS and that鈥檚 it鈥ame parcel and anything in Australia on Australia post with the one barcode. It doesn鈥檛 feed to USPS after arrival but it does to Australia post.

路Well, we have a happy ending. After being tied up in Polish customs for more than a month, the watch was finally delivered to the buyer on February 16th safe and sound - 78 days after it was shipped from the U.S. The buyer is happy and I'm happy and I will never consider using the USPS or the Polish postal service for an international shipment ever again. 馃槻
