Yes. They're great. I have a 20 mm for my seamaster and speedy. It's the top one. Easy to size and hefty on the wrist. You gotta have one. image.jpeg

I haven't got one, but I did a fair bit of research and found out they are high quality items and I may still try one.

Another to consider is the guy just around the corner from Hermann Staib in Pforzheim, Ernst Vollmer makes a similar line of bracelets.

I also have one, sorry no pictures as I am traveling for work. I purchased mine from LoneStarWatches, don't make the same mistake. Mine was obviously used with scratches on the clasp and no protective stickers. I would purchase from LongIslandWatch if I purchased another.

As for the bracelet itself, I did not feel it was the most comfortable bracelet. It looks great, but I would not want it as my daily wearer. This was for my Seiko and I ended up getting a Super Engineer from Strapcode, which I feel is more comfortable.

I think I'm sold on the staib to be honest - I'm in the UK so it would be easier to get from a European seller. I think it's a choice between butterfly and trad divers clasp. I was leaning toward the divers... but I'd really like to see one on a watch on someone's wrist, as I could be persuaded the other way.

I think this has made my mind up - a video "review" of the second staib strap I posted up. Fast forward through the terrible intro music and graphics, and it gives a good view of the mesh, how thick it is and the quality of the clasp.

The staib bracelets are very highly polished so take that into consideration. I have a couple of these bracelets that I purchased for vintage Seiko divers. In order to match the bracelets to the case I had to bring this 6309 case to a high polish or put a satin finish on the bracelet it was much easier to polish the case.

Mine is the one above. Got it from a German site for about £110 I think. Relatively easy to adjust for size.

Just looking at the two bracelet types it appears the divers clasp has more adjustment built into the clasp. The butterfly type all you can do is remove the links it just so happens that the butterfly bracelet with links removed on a Seiko 6309 diver on my wrist is a perfect fit Luck of the draw Adjustment wise you may be better off with the diver type clasp

It's arrived - quality is superb. Adjustment is a little mean though. I've only been able to reduce the size by about 1.5cm

I'm going to see if the extra wetsuit deploy can be removed for a snugger fit. IMG_3057.JPG IMG_3058.JPG IMG_3059.JPG IMG_3060.JPG

Well, I've removed the wetsuit link as well, and it is a better fit... but still a little looser than I normally have a bracelet. It took some fettling as the holes that held the pin needed enlarging slightly for a spring bar, but so far so good.

I could close it even more by taking it to the last micro adjust on the clasp, but to do wold mean having to remove some material from the top of the link the spring bar is in to allow it to sit properly in the clasp

    Thoughts?

Staib is the real deal, not cheap but just quality.
Rumoured to make bands for hi end marques.
The one below is a heavy version. I think I got it from Staib , or may have been a German agent.
    German engineering at its best.
