This is my gen 2 - and my second X-33, after my Gen 1 went to live with @blubarb, and I missed it so much that a @padders sold this one to me.

Love that it was a tool developed to solve a problem... rather than just a marketing exercise (looks at a lot of Omegas recent offerings).

Great pics of a great watch!

Does anyone use the double ridged Kevlar strap? I have always wanted to get one.
Yes, I had managed to get a new one at a great price, but the regular length was a fraction too short. The watch is super lightweight and looks great. I did sell it to try and find a longer one..

That's exactly it, love that strap. Would like to get one for my X-33.

Omega used to make a double ridge black shark that was great on these. Unfortunately these are discontinued and nearly impossible to find 🙁

This is one owned by John Wilson

I have a double ridged black strap for an older X-33, but never tried it on my newer one - I think it would look better on the older one anyway. I'll have to check and see if it's kevlar or shark, or vegan leather.

I ended up selling mine/yours to @Fatcat and missed it so much that the world re-balanced and Fatcat sold it back to me. 😁😁

It's a shame that the OF search function isn't a little more helpful when it comes to search terms like "X-33". I've noticed the same result when I've tried search terms like "105.012". If anyone has found a way to get better results, I'd be most grateful.

I've had that exact same problem when I was looking for threads about the X-33.

I've had that exact same problem when I was looking for threads about the X-33.

Glad to hear it's not just me! I had a bit of a lightbulb moment just now in relation to the search problem. Search engines like Google, Duck Duck Go, Bing etc allow you to restrict your search to a particular site. I've tried the following and it works a treat. So for all those X-33 fans out there who struggle with the built-in OF search, pop this string into your favourite search engine:

x-33 site: omegaforums.net

Edit: OK, so OF insists on changing a colon followed immediately by the letter o to the eek emoji 😲 Urgh. So I've had to add a space after the colon to the search term above to get it to display properly. From the (very) small amount of testing I've done in the last 2 mins, it looks like results will be more consistent if you remove the space when doing the search.
