Admittedly, the X-33 has a unique look that is not for everyone; however, I really like it.

    Who else has one?

Couple of pics of my Gen 1:

I had one. I sold it last year. I miss it. It looks great, but more important to me was it was always set to the correct time, so grab and go was a huge plus for me.

I like these a lot, but there are just a couple of things ahead in the wishlist. The connections with contemporary manned spaceflight are appealing. I'd be interested to know from owners: which, if any, of the many different functions of the watch do you find most useful on a day-to-day basis?

There's a Gen2 on Ebay with the Ti bracelet right now for around $1600 which is a great price, but not in my ballpark right now. I definitely would like one, but want the later thermocompensated movement.

Here are mine. Gen 2 has Navy aviation wings on the caseback. Now the Z-33 is sitting on my mind.

Great pics of a great watch!

Does anyone use the double ridged Kevlar strap? I have always wanted to get one.

Love mine. My only complaint is the short battery life - mine and my son's battery in our 3rd Gens only lasted 21 and 25 months respectively, although they may have sat around for a while before we bought them. I got mine from Jim at Continental Jewelers, and my son's at the OB in Denver. We have to remember to pull the crown and freeze the hands to save battery when we aren't wearing them.

You can run multiple time zones using the various functions. These days there are other handy solutions, of course.
