What buckle are you looking for because *gasp shock* Omega sells them!

I swear I don't understand why you wouldn't check with the mothership first.... they did a really nice stainless reproduction of their raised-symbol buckles.

Ok. Good to know. I’ll check it out. Thanks

Thanks! I was able to source a vintage silver 16mm for my mid-1950s Ranchero, but still looking for a gold 14mm for my mid-1940s automatic. But I'll check out the Omega boutique. I'm not too much of a stickler for vintage vs repro - just want the raised logo style.

Raised logo wasn't a thing in the 1940s....

I thought that might be the case, so good point. But I like the look even though it might not be 'age-appropriate'. Well anyway, I called Omega (there's a boutique on 5th Av here in NYC) and they might have what I am looking for. Gold plated is $50 and 18k gold is $450, but I'm not sure of the style. Just talked to them on the phone. I'll go down there today and see what they can offer.

They used to sell only the newer style buckles but I heard that new raised logo buckles are also available now. I am interested, if that is in fact true.

Checked with the Omega boutique. They have gold plated and 14k gold (yellow, rose and white) 14mm buckles but with the logo etched into the lip of the buckle. They only have the raised logo in silver. But the sales associate is checking to see what she can find in that style in gold. In the meantime I’m just having my jeweler electroplate my 14mm stainless steel buckle in 14k gold
