Hi! Thank you. Yes, I have seen a few like this one, but not in gold, though. I suppose that - in a way - the grey dial is a better match for stainless steel than gold. This model is very nice as well, indeed! I love this type of dial and hands. very elegant, dated... and timeless at the same time...

wonder what "10 million series" means?

To me "10 millions" refers probably to the year of 1944, as per Omega serial number chart.

Ahhhhh! Ok!!!!! You are probably right! I was not clever enough to find it by myself....! Yep, it is certainly what they meant! Thank you! Silly me!😉

Hi! to all! Well, there is definitely nothing on the back of the watch, even with the help of a very good magnifying glass. Possibly hidden by the strap...? Don't think so. I have asked to Kyle L - who posted a picture of a similar watch he sold a few years ago - where was the french hallmark, and he answered it was inside the case. So, wait and see for the proofs! One thing I am sure of - no proofs needed - is that my husband is gonna to be thrilled with the watch, anyway. Two more days to wait , and it will be his!!! When the watch will be opened - some day - I'll keep you informed , in case you were still interested! I love the forum - by the way !
