Fortunate to own three Hamiltons and all surprise gifts for the love of my life but I have to admit the Bronze is probably my favourite 😀

I've never posted a photo of my Hamiltons all together before. Here is my 1903 940, 1923 920, 1926 992, 1929 Piping Rock in white and yellow gold and both powered by the 979f movement, 1930 Perry powered by the 987f movement, and 1948 Turner powered by a 770 movement.

How many are so fortunate as to own two Hamilton Piping Rocks?

This is a scarce Hamilton model. The grade 994, 16-size, 21-jewel. What sets it apart from its relative, the 950? Honestly, the only difference of which I am aware is the texturing on the plates, and the 950 has 23-jewels. The 950 model has a motor barrel (safety barrel), and the 994 has a going barrel. This model was produced as lever set and stem set. There were only 1,101 of them produced. This one doesn’t belong to me. It is in the estate of a deceased brother collector, and is available to me should I so choose. But I have been downsizing, and besides, it is currently out of my budget. Face up, t looks like most other Hamiltons of the era. Regrettably, I don’t have a picture of the front view.

This is what the pocketwatchdatabase.com says about this model.

A birthday gift from my wonderful wife ... I'd dropped a few hints over the past year or so ... I can't wait to get the bracelet sized. Unlike anything else in my collection.

The venerable Ventura model, updated with quartz movement. Enjoy!

Just got the bracelet sized ... this is a mid-century modern blast.
