Any advice on speedy 145.012

Hi OF!

I encountered this vintage Speedmaster 145.012 with the 321 movement, I haven't asked many questions to the seller yet but the price seems a bit too good to be true, he just sent me a bunch of pictures and I would like your input if possible, regarding authenticity or any potential red flags, it's all here in this following album!

Looks legit at first glance. The damage to that 7 o'clock lug looks familiar, I feel like I've seen this watch before. Damaged case, not-so-nice hands and bezel, nice dial with perhaps a bit of lume loss. Flatlink bracelet always a bonus.

Thanks!! But hmm if you've seen it before I'll be wary of a potential scam, I'll try and reverse-search the images to see if a lot of hits pop up.

You should always do that unless you are very familiar with the seller. And even then, accounts can be hacked. 👍

It seems very familiar to me too but I can’t place it at the moment.

If it’s the seller I’m thinking of, he also has a “Siamaster”… the arm in the pic is different than for his other watches. All his other offerings are also quite cheap. I’d be very careful here.

You are right it's him (ads on kijiji, Canada), the pictures from the items all seem to be from the eBay seller https://www.ebay.co.uk/str/oramundi that seems located in Brazil, scam 99% sure I just don't see the speedmaster there but the auction for the eBay item might have ended already...

Anyway thanks everyone, when it's too good to be true, it usually is 😬

Sure so it is on kijiji (Canadian craigslist) listed for 5500 CAD$
