That actually looks really good (and that's coming from someone who just said gold watches should be dressy).

I think it would look really good with a black rubber strap option as well. Like the Rolex precious metal models with an Oysterflex strap (e.g., Daytona, Yacht-Master).
No need to give Rolex all the credit for that combination of precious metal and really nice rubber strap.

Agreed and updated:
If it looks like this then it's a winner in my book, notwithstanding the comments about having a Seamaster in full gold. I don't disagree but I still love the look here, and especially the burgundy with gold. Unlikely I'd ever be able to afford it either but still appreciate it.

I've never understood gold dive watches. Gold is for dress watches. To me anyway.
Gold dive watches are dress watches, just not conventional dress watches.

It's really hard to make the argument stick that they aren't a subtype of dress watch when they are continuously worn by people who essentially set and dictate what is what in terms of fashion. And we pretty consistently see gold dive watches with suits worn by people that most of the world would call fashion setters.

I'm not trying to convince anyone of anything. A tool watch dressed in gold and passed off as a dress watch is tacky in my opinion.

That said, I surprisingly don't mind this Goldfinger Seamaster.

I have to agree with boyh of you. There are no rules any more, and thats maybe a good thing. A BIG gold watch is used as a dress watch, and it looks thacky, both in the diving bell and the ballroom.

If you're not iced out in the diving bell, the fish won't respect your drip.

I’m wearing a PloProf 1200 right now, I pity the fool wearing a mere Seamaster Pro

I don't know if you're being sarcastic or not but I'm not such a big fan of the embeds. 😜

works perfect on my mobile phone

I just did some extra testing for you, it's one of my extensions in Firefox. Chrome is okay and Firefox private browsing is okay. I imagine it's one of the privacy tracker ones actually. Probably wouldn't worry about it, suspect it's an intentional behaviour of my browser to prevent Meta tracking, Mozilla likes to block them pretty aggressively.

Mobile and Desktop DuckDuckGo, Desktop Edge, Desktop Brave, and Desktop Pale Moon browsers just show a link to go to Instagram to view content as above. It might be a setting I changed or a native setting, but all of them? Not a big deal, as I created an account because that happens a lot to me.

Quite like it...

Titanium bezel version isn't for me though. I'm not a fan of the laser-ablated bezel in positive relief...

Same here. My OB says they may be getting the bracelet versions in as early as tomorrow. My pref is for the brushed silver on the new grey rubber strap, but that sounds like it may be coming later.

Don't mean to sidetrack the thread, but just a quick note that you need to be logged in for embeds to work.

Brave seems to be fine. Also, most of these browsers combined likely represent about 0.2% of our traffic. 😁

I've never heard of any of these browers except for Edge. Only reason why I use Edge is because my work requires us to use Edge to access certain applications.
