I've decided it's time to retire the old 40D... and have been window shopping since this time last year for a replacement.
Toyed with other brands but came back to Canon.
Couldn't justify a 5D (not sure who can as a not great amateur)... and wasn't feeling any of the compact enthusiast cameras.
Stumbled across a review for the EOS M3, went to try and buy one, to find they're currently not available post Japanese earthquake... but a small camera store in London not only had them, but had the decent kit lens, and view finder included, for the price of the body only.
Now I just need to learn how to use all the buttons!
Not a purchase but a nice gift, daughter informed me that she is wheeling me out later this month to visit Central Station in Glasgow,
We both share many interests and historical buildings are one of them, this will be our second visit as they have now increased the area open to visitors. 馃榾
Probably a lunch may also be in order with auld faither picking up the bill 馃槈
