A freesat pvr recorder. My Samsung tv will record to usb but insists you watch whatever you record while it's recording. If I try to change channel it tells me it's going to stop recording.

Another amplifier , kenwood ka-7100 vintage 1970~ with the wood cabinet. Bough “working “, it does, but no real testing but sounds ok. I did some cleaning, just because I always do and is a great to look for anything wrong or out of place.

Bought a haul of Tibetan silver, Tibetan waist cards.
About 842 Grams of it, I'll be rich ::psy::, hmm not likely 🙁 could be any old dross ::facepalm1:: even though the Chinese hallmarks say Fine Silver.

Parts for at least 3-4 projects, somehow you have to get from like 8 vendors, freaking nuts. I try local, but is more or less like watchmaking nothing available locally.

I’m not building anything yet, repairing 2 amps and 2 receivers and one tuner. I’m collecting parts for a tube guitar amp, for a gift.

A montblanc 146 from the early fifties, in very good condition and with a nice flexible nib.

Not a single thing as it appears that our bank account has been compromised which basically means that some xxx lowlife has had an attempt to access the account.
Fine we have not lost any funds but I am sure many will have gone through similar circumstances and it is just a pain in the proverbial 🤬

Back to the future!

Automatic slide projector, know not a lot about the brand but it reeks of commercial professional quality, solid diecast casing and it only cost me 8 bucks and works perfectly. Others more knowledgeable can advise me on that.

Came with what looks to be a second long range lens and of course the remote control and other accessories.

Stoked as had been looking for one for a while.

Now I guess I better find a projector screen, they seem to pop up frequently for not a lot of dosh.
Bring back that 60's and 70's vibe, though this looks like it might be either late 70's or possibly later.

I gifted one to wife, for a job promotion over 20 years ago. It was stolen about 3 years ago in the same place of work.

Some very cool old hi-fi equipment here, reminds me of when I was growing up and the thousands of dollars spent as a teenager and early 20s on that stuff. I've since replaced much of it, as I had problems and couldn't figure out the failing component until I had spent thousands. Some were not aging well and I have no ability to repair these things and my local shop that does claim to repair, complains that they can't find parts or (more often than not) doesn't listen to my complaint and doesn't do what I ask. But that's another thread.

"What did I buy today" unfortunately was a couple of weeks ago, my apologies for being late.

It's a new one, as the used car market is still crazy and it can sometimes cost less to just buy new. My old car had run out of gas.

It's got the V8. Vroom, vroom and all that. 😀
