Not the forge, though just the thought of forging steel myself this time of the year made me sweat.

Yeah we get it. Quite a good show. Like all the historical blades and weapons they have to make to win. Probably why it's on History channel.


We make most stuff ourselves downunder. This forum, Wifi, Vegemite you know most of the good stuff


I just need something to keep me busy for the hot as hell build up and wet season. ( where it's too hot to be outside 😉 )

This forum, Wifi, Vegemite, Black Box flight recorder, Electronic Pacemaker, Google Maps, Spray-on Skin, plastic bank notes, medical application of penicillin, cochlear implant, electric drill, winged keel, Permaculture, Ultrasound Body Scanner, inflatable aircraft escape slide, scratch-resistant plastic lens for glasses, permanent crease clothing, Frazier deep-focus lens, etc etc etc etc, you know most of the good stuff

Bought my first pair of “nice boots.” From Red Wing, had been wanting some for a while. I like the fact that they can be rebuilt and supposedly last forever, like our watches!
