Our old fireplace grate had sagged and was falling apart, so my wife ordered a new one. She told me the shipment had arrived and I said "That's great honey"...which was met with the dead eye stare...she doesn't always appreciate my humour...



Today we received a new wine rack, so my wife put it all together and I helped her load some bottles...



I resisted the temptation to say "Nice rack honey" when I came down to have a look...

Anyway, in moving some bottles around I found this lovely bottle:



1997 Vidal ice wine...can't recall buying it but I'm sure it will be very nice when we open it...eventually...

I used to approach my wallet game with a single-fold like these but then I switched to non-fold. I have a single piece of leather crafted to hold two cards, 3-4 IDs, and a couple gift certs or a few bills.

I recommend this because it forces you to identify what contents actually need to be in your wallet daily.

I remember my dad's wallet being 3-4 inches thick and never anywhere but the dashboard, glovebox, kitchen counter, or ground next to an empty can of tennis balls when we would go hit some volleys.

 

I thought every parent of a toddler had a hobby after the toddler went to sleep...sleep.
